Please follow procedures below before telephoning for service.
TIB FAULT FINDER:
Drinks not freezing or slow to freeze?
- Ensure machine is plugged into 13amp socket and switched on
- Check stir and freeze switches are on
- Ensure your machine has not been pushed back against the wall
- Make sure side vents of machine are not blocked. Minimum of 10cm clearance around the machine is required
- Ensure any heat sources are not placed alongside machine. The machine must be well ventilated with an ambient temperature of below 32°C
- Clean the condenser filter mesh on rear of machine (remove and clean under running water or with a clean brush)
- If LED is lit on right panel press red reset button underneath machine towards the rear
- Clean condenser on storeroom chiller using a clean brush
- Ensure storeroom chiller is plugged in and switched on
Tanks not filling or strong/weak drinks?
- Ensure machine is plugged in and stir and freeze switches are on
- Check Bag-in-Boxes (BIB) are full. Change any empty BIBs
- Ensure BIB connectors are fitted correctly
- Check CO2 supply is OK. If supply is empty, change your CO2 bottle (if a small bottle). Ensure valve is fully opened after changing. If using bulk CO2, check your feed is switched on. For further guidance for bulk systems call your CO2 supplier
- Check water supply has not been turned off. You can do this by operating the cold water tap in the storeroom behind the concessions. If there’s no water, contact your water provider
- Ensure your storeroom chiller is switched on
CHANGING BIB:
- Disconnect the bag connector from empty BIB
- Remove empty BIB from rack
- Clean BIB connector
- Fit new BIB on rack (check date on pack)
- Re-connect BIB connector to new BIB
- Ensure a stock rotation procedure is in place on site
- If rack drip tray has any syrup spillage, please clean during or after BIB changing procedure
COMPOSITIONAL & HYGIENE STANDARDS:
- The law requires drinks meet Compositional & Hygiene standards
- Taste product regularly and ensure product is of correct consistency before serving
- Tank nozzles must be kept clean
- All machine surface areas must be kept clean
- Remove and clean drip tray daily
CHANGING CO2 SUPPLY:
- If bulk supply – check contents gauge. Call supplier urgently if in red. Switch over to back-up supply if bulk supply exhausted
- Bottle supply – close cylinder valve and undo hose nut with CO2 spanner
- Remove dust cover from new CO2 cylinder
- Refit nut to new cylinder and tighten fully with spanner
- Check there is no leak from hose nut
- Secure cylinder with strap
- Open valve on CO2 cylinder slowly and fully
LID:
Left flashing LED: Left Syrup Out
Right flashing LED: Right Syrup Out
Check that product in the tank as reached the level probe/sensor
Check bag in box product is not empty
Check bag in box connector is correctly fitted
Reset machine, switch off machine at main plug and wait 5 seconds then switch machine back on
Product will start to enter the tank
- Both LEDs flashing together: Water Out
Check water supply is turned on
Reset machine, switch off machine at mains plug, wait 5 seconds then switch machine back on to reset
- Both LEDs Flashing alternately: Out of CO2
Check CO2 supply, CO2 bottle is not empty and contents gauge is in the green
If CO2 bottle is replaced switch off machine at mains plug wait 5 seconds then switch machine back on to reset
- Both LEDs on above each tank (CO2 leak or product touching high level probes)
Check CO2 supply, contents gauge is in the green
Check that there are no cracks in the tank or tank lid
Check if product is touching the high level probes in the tank lid
If fault is still present call for service engineer to attend
Red LED lit Between tanks on front panel
- Front condenser LED flashing: Clean filter
- Control panel LED on:System overheat – Turn machine off at mains 13amp socket, locate red reset button underneath the machine located towards the rear and push to reset
- Clean filter and remove any obstructions around panel air vents
- Turn machine back on at 13amp plug
Keep chiller condenser clean by brushing with a clean brush (condenser will be at front or rear of machine, but always on left hand side).
Clean BIB connectors every time boxes are changed. Ensure they are fully screwed on and not cross threaded.
If contents gauge is in red, CO2 supply requires changing.
